What I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. Last updated October 2026.
Springley Life + Wealth is Andrew Flitton's financial planning and insurance practice in Langley, British Columbia. I follow British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act. If you have a question about your information, email andrew@springley.ca or call (236) 473-0374.
What I collect
- What you send me: your name, email, phone number and message when you use the contact form, book a call, or ask for calculator results by email.
- When we work together: the information needed to build your plan or apply for insurance, such as income, accounts, family details and, for insurance, health information. I only collect this with your consent.
- When you visit the website: Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel use cookies to record pages visited, the device and browser used, and the general location. This doesn't identify you by name.
Why I use it
- To reply to you and book meetings.
- To prepare your plan and set up the insurance or accounts you ask for.
- To meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- To understand how the website is used and measure my advertising.
Who I share it with
- Insurance companies and partner investment firms, when you ask me to set something up with them.
- Service providers that run this website, email, calendar and secure file uploads, only as needed for those services.
- Regulators or others when the law requires it.
I never sell your information. Some service providers may store information outside Canada, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.
How long I keep it
For as long as I need it for the reason you gave it to me, and as long as insurance and financial regulations require.
Your choices
- Ask to see the information I hold about you, or to correct it.
- Withdraw your consent, subject to legal or contract limits. I'll explain what that means for any services in place.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage ad preferences in your Google and Meta accounts.
Keeping it safe
I use reasonable safeguards to protect your information from loss, theft and unauthorized access.
